Millstatt alpine road - Millstätter Alpe4 roads with duty leads to the millstaetter alpe. With the Millstaetter lake Inclusiv Card (MIC) you can use these free of charge.

The scenic road in Gschriet
The road in Gschriet leads either to the Possegger Alpine Inn or to the Bergfried Alpine Inn and offers wonderful panoramic views over the entire Lake Millstätter See and the magnificent mountains of Upper Carinthia!
In addition, in Gschriet you will also find the Places of Power (Orte der Kraft)
Goldeck Panorama road
The Goldeck-Panorama road in Zlan-Stockenboi with its beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valleys is one of the most magnificent roads in Carinthia. After the 14,5km with a maximum incline of 10 percent, you reach the Seetal car park at the end, at an altitude of 1.900 m, from where you have great walking on offer and can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
Opening times: May – Oct. daily 8:00-17:00
Average stay: 2-4 hours
Malta-Hochalm road - Kölnbreinsperre (Malta-Hochalm-Straße)
Day trip to Kölnbreinsperre
Panoramic trip via the 18 km long Malta-Hochalm road
Exhibition: "Tauern treasure vault", the most beautiful mountain crystals and mineral terraces in the Hohen Tauern, guided tour through the dam. (The highest in Europe – 200m!) National Park Cinema with a multi-media show on the "Hohe Tauern" National Park.
Nockalm road Nockalmstraße
via the 35 km long Panorama road through the Nock Mountains National Park. This round trip is an ideal autumn half-day trip or a full day if you rest in one of the many cottages.
There are also hikes and walks on the National Park routes and a visit to the bell cottage (ring the bell once and your wish will come true).
Großglockner Hochalm road (Großglockner Hochalmstraße)
This leads you into the heart of the National Parks "Hohe Tauern" on Austria’s highest mountain. 20 km long journey up to an altitude of 2500m - with many rest stops and museums along the way. Open from May to November (depending on weather)
Route: Heiligenblut - Franz Josef Höhe to Bruck - Zell am See and return or simply up the Franz-Josef-Höhe and back to Lake Millstätter See.
