It gets exciting in the Alpine Park of Feld am See. Where else can you experience Deer, Mufflons, Ibex and racoons close-up? For kids needing a lot of movement, the family-friendly Drau cycle route or a legend or mill walk can be recommended.
- If the young ones should nevertheless become tired, there is enough child friendly accommodation available. You could go adventure camping – with the luxury found in a hotel – or you could visit one of our family professional hotels family professional hotels with children’s facilities and a babysitting service. While the young explorers are being well looked-after, the adults will have enough time to renew their energy.

In Carinthia we not only categorise businesses with stars, but also with Bears. These „Carinthia Bears“ represent the child friendliness of offers and guarantee the following quality standards.
3 Bears
Position: fenced off children's play area.
Family rooms / Apartments: spacious room / apartments, children’s beds, children’s safe devices and power points, WC children’s chair.
Care area: smoke-free area, high chair, children's dishes, paints, games etc. Children’s portions and drinks.
Play area: own play rooms.
Services: on request organised babysitter service (extra charge), mind. 1x/ week organised family program, at least 3x/ week, own children's program in-house or in centre.
4 Bears
Position: fully separated play area, direct access from hotel / house.
Family rooms / Apartments: Baby package with child tub, thermometer, diaper bucket, bottle warmer, potty, changing facility, baby phone.
Care area: own playroom or playhouse.
Play area: Baby or childcare 5 days / week, organised babysitter service (extra charge).
5 Bears
Position: 4-star with indoor pool, or heated outdoor or lake swimming right at hotel. Safe position with fenced off hotel area.
Family rooms / Apartments: Play set in room, wardrobe and towel holder at child height, baby care packet (cream, wet towels, powder, etc.), computer interference monitoring.
Care area: non-smoker restaurant, children’s full board – children’s drinks all day care inclusive.
